Butch Moody, a resident of New Brockton, AL, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Mizell Memorial Hospital. He was 83.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, September 16, 2024 at St. Luke United Methodist Church with Dr. Olivia Poole officiating and Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 PM until service time.
Butch was born on April 28, 1941 in Strong, ME. He served in the United States Navy. Retired from Quinnipiac University in Camden, CT.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Moody, New Brockton, AL; step-son, Steve Gibson (Jennifer), Michigan.
