CW3(RET) Wesley Elsworth Philbrook passed away Friday, October 7, 2016, at his home in Enterprise, AL. He was 84.There are no local services scheduled.CW3 Philbrook was a UH-1 (Huey) helicopter pilot and served one tour in Vietnam. He retired from the US Army following 21 years of active service. He was awarded the Army Aviator badge; air medal with 22 Oak Leaf Cluster; National Defense service medal with 2 stars; Republic of Vietnam campaign medal with device A60; air medal with valor device.He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jody Lynn Swann and two grandchildren, two brothers and a sister.Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Saundra Philbrook, Enterprise, AL; 3 daughters, Cynthia Rose Fajardo (Charles), Covington, KY, Tamera Sue Clapp (Brian), Clarksville, TN, Lori MiChele Ciranni (Nick), Enterprise, AL; son, Christopher Scott Philbrook (Dana), Burlington, KY; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Edwin Philbrook, Decatur, IL.
