Survivors include her three daughters, Chela Nilsa San Miguel (Pedro) Enterprise, AL; Laura Rivera, Concord, NC; Nayda Rivera-Everhart (Charlie) Charlotte, NC; her mother, Nilsa Diaz, San Juan , Puerto Rico; two sisters, Gilda Vélez, San Juan, Puerto Rico; Gloria Vélez, San Juan, Puerto Rico; brother, Samuel Vélez, San Juan, Puerto Rico; two grandchildren, Angel and Angelina San Miguel, Enterprise, AL.
